Hebrews Bible Study

Hebrews has some of the most memorable passages in the Bible as well as some of the most perplexing. Yet, sadly, too few people are aware of the richness found in the Letter to the Hebrews. That richness includes some of the most glorious statements about Jesus that you will find in the Bible.

In this study, we will take a deep dive into the letter and explore the nature of Jesus, the witness of great saints of the past, the enigmatic character of Melchizedek, and much more. All of which is intended to strengthen your relationship with Jesus and give you an even bigger picture of who God is.   

This study will be broken into two 8-week sessions. The first session will begin on Tuesday, August 19th and run through October 7th. We will break for one week and then resume the second session on October 21st.

You only need to register once and may join at anytime during either session. Each 90-minute class will include a discussion around tables about what was read during the week and a teaching/lecture/Q & A time for the bulk of the class.

We will gather in the Worship Center, inside the main building, and class will run from 6:30-8:00pm.

All participants will be given a book that outlines the study on a weekly basis. These books are written and designed specifically for OCC as part of the Institute. There is a $25.00 fee to cover the cost of materials. Books can be picked up in the foyer at OCC beginning Sunday, August 10th. 

Childcare is available if needed, please make that selection during the registration process.
